Seven Seas Prestige Dining Guide: Restaurants, Reservations and What’s Included

A practical guide to the restaurants, reservation priorities, included dining and choices that matter before your cruise.

By Melissa Lagerquist · October 3, 2026 · 13 min read

Seven Seas Prestige expands Regent’s dining program with the new Mediterranean restaurant Azure, the daytime Solmar Terrace and reimagined versions of familiar Regent venues. More importantly for someone deciding whether to book, Regent states that all dining—including specialty restaurants—is included in the voyage fare, along with premium beverages and 24-hour in-suite dining. Regent’s current dining overview is the basis for this guide.

The renderings are beautiful, but they do not answer the practical questions: Which venues should you prioritize? Which ones are flexible? Does the suite category affect reservation access? And where can you eat without turning every evening into a schedule?

The quick answer

Quick answer

Prioritize Azure first because it is new to the fleet, then choose among Prime 7, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim according to your preferences. Compass Rose gives you the most menu flexibility, while La Veranda, Sette Mari, the Pool Grill, Coffee Connection and 24-hour in-suite dining keep the trip from feeling overplanned. Concierge Suites and higher receive priority online reservations for dining, and Penthouse Suites and higher add a personal butler who can assist with the onboard experience. Regent’s current inclusion and suite-benefit summary explains those category-based advantages.

Azure: the first reservation I would prioritize

Azure, the new Mediterranean-inspired specialty restaurant aboard Seven Seas Prestige. Artist rendering supplied by Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Azure is the clearest dining reason to choose Prestige over an earlier Regent ship. Regent describes a mezze-style menu with Mediterranean influences and a touch of Middle Eastern character. The shared-plate format also makes it meaningfully different from the steakhouse, French and pan-Asian venues already familiar to Regent guests. Regent’s Prestige page identifies Azure as a new specialty restaurant.

Because it is both new and likely to attract repeat Regent guests, Azure is the reservation I would pursue first. That is a planning recommendation, not a guarantee about availability. Exact reservation inventory and opening dates should always be checked in the guest’s live Regent account.

Compass Rose: the restaurant that keeps the schedule flexible

Compass Rose is the venue to remember when the specialty calendar starts to feel restrictive. Regent positions it around a broad, customizable lunch and dinner menu, making it useful for mixed preferences and repeat visits. Regent calls Compass Rose its largest specialty restaurant, with varied steak, seafood and plant-based combinations.

I would intentionally leave at least a few evenings unscheduled. A port day can run long, energy levels change, and sometimes the best luxury is deciding where to eat that afternoon rather than months before sailing.

Prime 7, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim

Prime 7

Prime 7 remains Regent’s American steakhouse, but Prestige receives a reimagined menu with additional seafood choices. Regent describes the concept as a contemporary American steakhouse. This is an obvious anniversary or birthday selection, but travelers who eat little red meat should review the current menu rather than assuming it is not for them.

Chartreuse

Chartreuse presents contemporary French cuisine in an Art Deco-inspired room. Regent describes its food as classic French fare with a modern twist. See Regent’s current Chartreuse description. Choose it for a more formal-feeling evening even though the ship’s published dress standard remains elegant casual rather than mandatory formal wear.

Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim supplies the strongest menu contrast among the established specialty restaurants. Its pan-Asian direction makes it useful after several nights of steak, French or Mediterranean food. If your party has very different tastes, preview the current sample menu before assigning one of your advance reservations.

La Veranda by day, Sette Mari by night

La Veranda handles breakfast and lunch with indoor and open-air seating. Regent says Prestige will have the most expansive al fresco dining area in its fleet. At night, the same venue becomes Sette Mari, with an à la carte Italian dinner menu. Regent explains the daytime-to-evening transformation.

This is an important pairing because it adds flexibility without sacrificing a sense of occasion. It is also why I would not fill every night with specialty reservations before boarding.

Solmar Terrace and the casual choices

Solmar Terrace is a new daytime venue on the aft deck, reached through Compass Rose, with shared dishes in an open-air setting. Regent also lists the Pool Grill for casual outdoor meals and Coffee Connection for beverages, pastries, fruit and light selections. Regent’s official ship page introduces Solmar Terrace as a daytime dining venue.

These venues matter on a port-intensive itinerary. Not every meal needs to be a two-hour production, and a strong luxury ship should work just as well when you want lunch in the sun or coffee before an early excursion.

What is included—and what may still cost extra?

Regent currently includes dining in all specialty restaurants, premium beverages, a replenished in-suite minibar, gratuities, Wi-Fi, valet laundry and 24-hour in-suite dining. See Regent’s current all-suite inclusions.

“All dining included” should not be interpreted as every culinary activity being automatically included. Culinary Arts Kitchen classes, premium wine experiences, extraordinary bottles, private arrangements or other optional programming may have separate availability or charges. Confirm the exact activity in the live cruise planner rather than relying on a general inclusion list.

How dining reservations should affect your suite choice

Regent states that Concierge Suites and higher receive priority online dining reservations. Penthouse Suites and higher add a personal butler. Those benefits can matter more than a modest increase in square footage if securing preferred times is a major priority. Regent’s suite-benefit chart is the controlling source.

  1. Confirm the reservation-opening date shown for your booking.
  2. Reserve Azure first if experiencing the new venue is a priority.
  3. Select Prime 7, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim according to your tastes—not simply because they are available.
  4. Avoid scheduling specialty dinners immediately after long excursions or late port departures.
  5. Leave several evenings open for Compass Rose, Sette Mari or a spontaneous change.
  6. Ask about allergies and dietary restrictions before sailing, then reconfirm onboard.

My dining strategy for a first Prestige cruise

On a 10- to 14-night sailing, I would reserve Azure, Prime 7, Chartreuse and Pacific Rim, then protect several unscheduled evenings. I would try Solmar Terrace early, use La Veranda when the weather makes outdoor dining appealing, and save in-suite dining for a morning or evening when privacy feels more luxurious than another restaurant.

The right plan depends on the itinerary, suite benefits, port times and the people traveling with you. Dining should add anticipation—not become a second job.
