Azamara Experience More Packages: Which Tier Is Worth It?

Essentials, Enjoyment and Indulgence compared by price, credits, dining and the benefits you are likely to use.

By Melissa Lagerquist · September 16, 2026 · 13 min read

Azamara's redesigned Experience More packages make one decision simpler and another more important. The prices are now consistent—$59, $79 or $99 per guest, per day—but the best tier depends on whether you will genuinely use its beverage, Wi-Fi, excursion, dining, laundry and spa benefits.

Quick answer Essentials is the logical starting point for travelers who want upgraded drinks and Wi-Fi and will book Azamara excursions. Enjoyment can be the practical middle choice when Ultimate beverages, some specialty dining and laundry all matter. Indulgence is strongest when you will use both its daily excursion and spa credits; otherwise its headline value can be misleading. Skipping all three can still be the right answer.

Important date: The refreshed structure applies to eligible sailings embarking on or after September 24, 2026. Azamara prices the packages per person, per day, and reports consistent pricing across cruise lengths. Review the September 15 launch details and confirm the version attached to your reservation on Azamara's current onboard-package page.

What changed from Azamara's previous packages?

The names may look familiar, which is exactly why older search results can be confusing. A January 2026 consumer guide described the former packages with fixed shore-excursion credits of $300, $500 and $700 and said total package pricing could vary with the itinerary and cruise length. See that dated description of the earlier offering.

The takeaway is simple: do not use an old fixed-credit chart to evaluate a voyage departing under the new program. Calculate from the current daily price and the exact number of voyage nights.

What do the packages cost for the complete voyage?

The advertised daily price is only the starting point. For two guests sharing a stateroom, multiply the rate by two and then by the voyage length.

Total package price for two guests
Voyage lengthEssentials totalEnjoyment totalIndulgence total
7 nights$826$1,106$1,386
10 nights$1,180$1,580$1,980
14 nights$1,652$2,212$2,772

For a solo traveler, the seven-night totals are $413, $553 and $693. These are straightforward calculations from the announced per-person daily prices, not quotes; promotions, eligibility and reservation-specific terms can change the amount due.

How much do the daily credits change the value?

For two guests, the excursion credits amount to $50 per day with Essentials, $60 with Enjoyment and $70 with Indulgence. Indulgence also provides $40 per day in combined spa credit. Azamara says package-generated credit is restricted to the eligible shore-excursion and spa purchases, so count it at full value only when you expect to use it. See the reported credit restrictions and onboard-credit rules.

Package tierDaily package costExcursion creditSpa creditRemaining daily cost after used credits*
Essentials$118$50$68
Enjoyment$158$60$98
Indulgence$198$70$40$88

*This is planning arithmetic, not a cash rebate. It assumes both guests can use every dollar of the applicable daily credits. The remaining amount still has to be justified by beverages, Wi-Fi, dining and laundry.

Who should choose Essentials?

Essentials makes the cleanest case when you want the Premium beverage package, expect to use Starlink Plus and plan to purchase Azamara shore excursions. It avoids paying for specialty dining, laundry service and spa credit that you may not use.

For two guests, the package costs $118 per day and produces $50 per day in shore-excursion credit. If that credit will be fully used, you are effectively evaluating whether the Premium beverage and one-device Wi-Fi benefits are worth the remaining $68 per day for the stateroom.

Best fit: excursion-oriented travelers who want reliable connectivity and a beverage upgrade without paying for the broadest onboard bundle.

Who should choose Enjoyment?

Enjoyment adds the Ultimate beverage package, specialty dining every four nights, an extra $5 per guest per day of excursion credit and one laundry bag every seven nights. Those additions cost $20 more per guest, per day than Essentials. Verify the current Enjoyment benefits.

This tier works when you would independently pay for the Ultimate beverage upgrade and can use its dining and laundry benefits. It is less persuasive when Premium beverages are sufficient or when your voyage is short enough that the periodic benefits have limited value.

Best fit: guests who want the Ultimate beverage package, plan at least some specialty dining and appreciate included laundry on a longer itinerary.

Who should choose Indulgence?

Indulgence adds a second connected device per person, unlimited specialty dining, a higher excursion credit, a $20-per-person daily spa credit and two laundry bags every seven nights. It costs $20 more per guest, per day than Enjoyment. See the complete Indulgence inclusion list.

The daily spa credit is the swing factor. For a couple, it accumulates at $40 per day. If both guests already expect to book eligible spa services, Indulgence can compare surprisingly well with Enjoyment after the excursion and spa credits are counted. If the spa credit prompts you to purchase a treatment you would otherwise skip, it is not genuine savings.

Best fit: travelers who will use Azamara excursions and spa services, prefer unlimited specialty dining, want the Ultimate beverage package and need multiple connected devices.

When should you skip Experience More?

A package can be convenient without being cheaper. Compare the bundle with the extras you would voluntarily purchase—not with the largest possible retail value of every included item.

Important rules before purchasing

Both guests generally need the same tier

Azamara says guests sharing a stateroom must purchase the same package tier. A solo traveler purchases one package. See the reported occupancy rule.

Suite guests receive a dining substitution

Because suite guests already receive unlimited specialty dining at Prime C and Aqualina, Azamara substitutes two Chef's Table experiences—or three on cruises of 13 nights or longer—when the applicable package includes specialty dining. Review the suite exception.

There is a purchase window

The announced rules allow purchase up to seven days before sailing or within 48 hours after embarkation. The packages are not available on charters, World Cruises or Grand Voyages. Check the reported timing and exclusions.

Some onboard credit may pay for the package

Promotional, unrestricted onboard credit may be applied toward the package cost. Credit created by the package is restricted to eligible shore-excursion and spa spending. Confirm the classification and expiration rules of the credit attached to your booking before counting it. See the current reported policy.

My practical decision method

  1. Calculate the complete package price for every guest and every voyage night.
  2. List the Azamara excursions you would book without a package.
  3. Count only the excursion and spa credit you can realistically use.
  4. Decide whether Premium or Ultimate beverages match what you order.
  5. Value Wi-Fi by the number of devices you actually need.
  6. Add only the specialty dining and laundry you would otherwise purchase.
  7. Compare the result with buying those extras individually—and include the option of buying nothing.

Why have a travel advisor compare the package?

The tier chart cannot account for your itinerary, available excursions, suite benefits, promotional onboard credit or actual onboard habits. Those details can change which tier wins—and can make the no-package option better than all three.

Send me the Azamara voyage and stateroom you are considering, along with how you expect to use drinks, Wi-Fi, excursions, dining, laundry and spa services. I can compare the live reservation terms and help you evaluate the package alongside the complete cruise—not as an isolated add-on.
