Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Melissa Lagerquist Travel website and travel-planning services. By using this website or requesting services, you agree to these terms. A specific booking may also require a separate traveler agreement, supplier terms, payment authorization, and disclosures. If those documents conflict with these website terms, the more specific booking or supplier terms control for that transaction.

Advisor and host-agency relationship

I am an independent travel agent affiliated with Atlas Coast Travel Group. I assist clients with travel research, recommendations, reservations, and related services. Airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, ground operators, insurers, and other providers are independent third parties (“Travel Suppliers”) and are responsible for delivering their respective services.

Quotes, availability, and bookings

Website content and travel recommendations are informational and are not guaranteed offers. Prices, promotions, taxes, fees, itineraries, cabin or room assignments, and availability may change until a reservation is confirmed by the applicable Travel Supplier. A booking is not complete until required traveler information, approvals, payments, and supplier confirmation have been received.

You are responsible for reviewing names, dates, destinations, accommodations, fare rules, inclusions, exclusions, and all confirmation details promptly and reporting errors immediately.

Payments, changes, cancellations, and refunds

Deposits and final payments are governed by the terms disclosed for the particular booking. Travel Supplier cancellation and change penalties may be substantial and may increase as departure approaches. Some fares, fees, insurance premiums, and service charges may be nonrefundable. Refund timing and eligibility are controlled by the applicable supplier terms and law. No cancellation or change is effective until it is received and acknowledged in writing.

Traveler responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate legal names and complete traveler information by applicable deadlines.
• Obtaining and carrying valid passports, visas, consent documents, vaccinations, and other required documentation.
• Reviewing official government advisories, entry and transit rules, and health requirements for every destination.
• Disclosing mobility, medical, dietary, or accessibility needs early enough for appropriate requests to be made.
• Arriving on time and complying with supplier conduct, baggage, check-in, and boarding requirements.

Requirements can change without notice. Final decisions regarding entry, boarding, health, and safety are made by governmental authorities and Travel Suppliers, not the travel advisor.

Travel insurance

Travel involves risks that may result in cancellation expenses, delays, medical costs, lost baggage, evacuation expenses, or other losses. Travel insurance is strongly recommended. You are responsible for reviewing policy terms, coverage limits, exclusions, pre-existing-condition provisions, and purchase deadlines. Declining insurance may require written acknowledgment.

Supplier changes and events beyond control

Travel Suppliers may change schedules, routes, ports, aircraft, vessels, accommodations, or services. Melissa Lagerquist Travel is not responsible for acts, omissions, insolvency, schedule changes, strikes, weather, natural disasters, epidemics, governmental actions, civil unrest, mechanical failures, or other events outside the advisor’s reasonable control. We will provide reasonable assistance when disruptions occur, subject to supplier rules and availability.

Website content and third-party links

Website content may be updated without notice and is provided for general information. We make reasonable efforts toward accuracy but do not guarantee that every statement is complete or current. Links to JourneyFuse, suppliers, and other third parties are provided for convenience; their services, security, availability, and content are governed by their own terms and policies.

Intellectual property

The website’s original text, design, branding, and graphics are owned by or licensed to Melissa Lagerquist Travel and may not be copied, republished, or commercially used without permission, except for personal use in evaluating or managing your own travel.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website and its content are provided “as is.” Melissa Lagerquist Travel disclaims warranties not expressly stated in a written booking agreement and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from website use or the acts or omissions of independent Travel Suppliers. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be waived.

Governing law, changes, and contact

These website terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may revise them as our services or legal obligations change, with the effective date identifying the current version. Questions may be submitted through the secure inquiry form.
